The Death of Hood

This isn’t movie news at all but I feel I have to mention it as a thorn has been, seemingly permanently, removed from my side.  The BBC’s abysmal Robin Hood TV series has been axed.  Anyone who is eitehr A) A fan of Robin Hood or B) A fan of non shitty television will be rejoicing in the streets of Nottingham – I’ll be there as soon as I’ve finished carving Keith Allen’s heart out… with a spoon.

Okay time to forget this traversty of a TV show ever happened as I rewatch Errol Flynn’s colourful adventures, Michael Praed’s dark mysticism and even debate the merits of the two 1990’s Hollywood adaptations…

All hail. Time for a fine reboot of Robin’s Nest now. Richard O’Sullivan is an acting legend.
