Nice enough list. My only real issue is that there is no love for the Coen’s and amusingly none of the movies that came with the official “TARANTINO PRESENTS…” seal of awesome are on the list.

  2. Count de Ceredigion Says:

Heh yeah agreed! In fact no love for Rodriguez either comes as a surprisingly non nepatistic move!

  3. GW Paperstacks Says:

Yeah, but in fairness El mariachi was in 1992 and he was actually in Desperado (which is the good one), maybe he doesn’t want to give himself credit. Sadly Sky Kids isn’t going to make the list.

  4. Should wake up properly one day and find out that QT isn’t proclaiming his love for Police Academy 3.

  5. GW Paperstacks Says:

Since that was made in 1986 it’s possible he does love it, its just doesn’t qualify for this list. I’d imagine it would come 3rd in his “which Police Academy film was best”.

  6. Police Academy 3 was the one with the funny police men doing funny things with absolutely no funny right?

  7. GW Paperstacks Says:

I think 3 was the one where they realised that they had nothing whatsoever new to bring to the table so just put stuff that happened in the first two in new situations, Bobcat Goldthwaite was awesome however.

  8. Had Gutenberg quit by that point? If not then if it’s good enough for Gutenberg then it’s good enough for me!

  9. Guttenberg lasted for four movies! One of them had him copping off with Sharon Stone. I was so jealous. Let’s remake Police Academy and ask Diora as Debbie Callahan.

I could do all 7 for a Bleeding Eyes one day.
